AVIATION
PHOTOGRAPHY
We begin the photo shoot with an in-depth consultation
and formalize the process depending upon your intended use whether
creative or conservative. Your aircraft is then carefully relocated
into one of our corporate hangars where 6 professional studio strobes
are set up illuminating the interior through the cabin windows,
simulating the aircraft in-flight, as well as accent strobes strategically
located to lighting up darker areas and provide a uniform, inviting
feel.
Various props can be added to further create
a welcoming atmosphere including high quality catering for table
settings or galley shots. We have also found that soft goods nicely
dress the seating within the cabin and create an appealing warmth.
Our focus then moves to the flight deck where
we can provide a number of photographic styles. Typically, all avionics
are illuminated and the windscreen is draped with an opaque covering
providing a dramatic visual contrast. Conversely, and dependent
upon your request, incorporating a translucent covering creates
an in-flight feel and complements the style of the other interior
shots.
As dusk approaches, the aircraft is towed to
a dedicated location we have selected on the airport because of
the dramatic backdrop, beautiful sunsets, and appealing topography
it produces. As with the interior shots, 6 studio strobes are set-up
around the exterior and initated via a wireless transmitter from
the camera flooding the aircraft with light while maintaining the
natural lighting of the outdoor environment.
Once the actual photography is complete, our
photographer reviews every picture and edits them accordingly. Lastly,
the images averaging 25MB are compiled on a digital medium of your
choice and presented for your review.
