CORPORATE HANGAR COMPLEX
OVERVIEW
The recent
completion of our newest heated corporate hangar increased
our footprint to over 56,000 square feet. The new hangar incorporates
a state-of-the-art electronic security access control system,
the latest in fire detection and suppression, ample hook-ups
for ground power, office space with wireless internet, and
a comfortable waiting area.
In addition,
and in conjunction with the new hangar construction, we more
than doubled the size of the apron area surrounding the hangar
complex providing our based tenants and maintenance customers
a congestion-free area to operate. Our fuel farm is also collocated
with the hangar complex, incorporates advanced environmental
containment and monitoring systems, utilizes a computerized
quality control monitor that complements our daily inspections,
and has the capability to fuel any aircraft directly from
the farm.
LONG-TERM
BASING OPTIONS
The proximity
of the Westfield-Barnes Airport to the metro Boston and New
York areas has proven to be a great asset for corporate operators
throughout the Northeast. This perfectly situated location,
in conjunction with the Airport’s 9000 foot ILS runway,
5000 foot crosswind runway, significant investment in infrastructure,
award winning snow removal, highly experienced air traffic
control tower staff, virtually nonexistent traffic delays,
and 24 hour aircraft rescue and firefighting service is drawing
considerable interest from those based in these crowded metropolitan
areas seeking a low-cost, high quality, alternative.
